Finland: supermarket chain investigated for vicious anti-Semitism

Tundra Tabloids:  The free paper issued to over 360 000 homes by the J. Kärkkäinen supermarket chain, Magneetti Media, has been consistently publishing conspiracy stories for some time now, many of them anti-Semitic. There’s no question about it, J. Kärkkäinen has a "Jew problem" as the following picture from their most recent publication that includes the entire reading of the fraudulent Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, shows. French writer: Israel knew of plans to kill Sadat and did nothing

"In their [Israelis] eyes, Yasser Arafat embodied Palestine, and Palestine is an obscene word in their eyes." Gérard de Villiers

The New York Times interviewed Gérard de Villiers, the French author of the best-selling S.A.S. espionage series. Unsurprisingly he had to claim that Israel knew that Egyptian President Anwar Sadat was going to be murdered and did nothing about it. A truly appalling and unsubstantiated accusation:

"In 1980, he wrote a novel in which militant Islamists murder the Egyptian president, Anwar Sadat, a year before the actual assassination took place. When I asked him about it, de Villiers responded with a Gallic shrug. “The Israelis knew it was going to happen,” he said, “and did nothing.”"

De Villiers, wrote an conspirational Israel-bashing piece in Atlantico, a conservative French news site, about Arafat's "poisoning". This is a translation of what he wrote:

"The discovery by a Swiss scientific laboratory of polonium-210 traces on clothes that belonged to Yasser Arafat only strengthens the rumours that have been circulating among the intelligence community since his death to the effect that the Israeli Secret Services assassinated the old Palestinian leader. Obviously, there is no evidence and there may never be any. However, several factors argue in favor of this thesis. Foremost the blind hatred, which can verge on the irrational, rooted at the heart of the Israeli leadership. Somewhat comparable to the hatred the United States feels towards Iran since the hostage taking at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979.

Israelis have never considered the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) as a possible partner, but as a ennemy. They did everything to kill it off. Including contributing significantly to the birth of Hamas, with a view to weaken the PLO. From their point of view, they have succeeded by splitting the two Palestinian movements, but in the process they created a new and much more determined ennemy. When they besieged Arafat in his Ramallah headquarters, they clealy tried to kill him, by shooting directly at him. In their eyes, Yasser Arafat embodied Palestine, and Palestine is an obscene word in their eyes. He had to disappear. Despite all his faults, the old leader was still an icon. The physical elimination of political opponents is a constant and official dogma of Israeli policy. Israel is the only country that officially maintains a brigade of assassins, the kinodim. A special Mossad unit with professional assassins. There are around sixty of them including a dozen women. They are the official executioners of the State of Israel. When they kill they do not break the law. They carry out a sentence issued by the "war cabinet" and the Prime Minister. Such a sentence must relate to a person who is a danger to Israel. They have killed mostly PLO and Hamas executives. And they made a few mistakes. In Norway, Lillehammer, they killed an innocent waiter by mistaking him for a terrorist, Abu Nidal. [...]"

Back to Arafat's "poisoning":

"There is nothing surprising about their use of poison. I met in Amman, Jordan, Khaled Mashal, when he was only the Hamas spokesman and two Mossad kidonim had tried to poison him by shooting a deadly gas at him with a gun. Another example: the Mossad has for a long time used a "home" product, a toothpaste laced with Thallium. It is a highly toxic slow-killing substance. The "target" is poisoned every morning while brushing his teeth .... As to Arafat, it has been stressed that he did not show symptoms caused by polonium-210 similar to those of Litvinenko when he was poisoned in London by the Russian Secret Services. They disregard the fact that Litvinenko had received a strong dose fit to kill a herd of elephants ... The Israelis are far more subtle. A much lower dose is sufficient to kill. One last point: there is no doubt that Mossad would have access to polonium-210 designed to trigger nukes which Israel has."

Norway: union rep wants to boycott the Histadrut, calls it an apartheid organization

"This is an organization only for Israeli Jews. In our world this is apartheid." Apartheid?  Arabs and other ethnic groups have had full right to membership from 1960 and Histadrut has currently over 200,000 Arab members.

The leader of Fellesforbundet (The Norwegian United Federation of Trade Unions), Lars Frøysa wants to boycott the Israeli Histadrut, on the grounds that it is an apartheid organization, according to an article in Vårt Land

This is an organization only for Israeli Jews. In our world this is apartheid. We think that the labour movement has an obligation to protect all workers, says Lars Frøysa. He is leader of the local chapter at Celsa Armeringsstål in Mo i Rana, who has submitted the motion.

He further claims that in spite of the Union’s rejection of the proposal, he is convinced that they will prosper at the ballot, since members are free individuals.

Our old friend Hilde Henriksen Waage, the historian and researcher who on occasion slips into activist mode on Israel related matters, has been consulted (apparently nobody was available at the Histadrut for comments, but that may reflect a certain insensitivity and ignorance on Jewish matters, since probably they were closed for Yom Kippur observation in addition to the weekly days of rest for workers, in Israel on Friday and Saturday):

From its inception in the 1920ies, Histadrut was am important instrument for the Zionist movement in the construciton of the Israeli State. They were mainnly concerned with building their own economy separate from the Palestinian. Their goal was to ensure that Jews got the jobs as well as maintaining high salaries.
– How did LO (The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions) view them?
– Histadrut was an important reason why the Labour party and the LO embraced the Jewish project. They saw the society they wanted to create in Israel as their socialistic paradice. It was almost like a religious conversion, says Henriksen Waage, who underlines that she is not updated on the development in later years for this organization.

If our rabid Unionist, Lars Frøysa, had cared to check the facts and not only let himself be guided by his hatred of Jews in general, Israeli Jews in particular, he might have discovered that Arabs and other ethnic groups have had full right to membership from 1960 and has currently over 200,000 Arab members.

Also inconvenient is the fact that the Histadrut cooperates fully and advocates on behalf of Palestinian workers and activists. But he may not have wanted to notice that, since that would have forced the realization that Israel is not an apartheid state, also when it comes to union matters.

But that neither the VL journalist nor Henriksen Waage should be unable to find relevant information on Histadrut, in terms of historical background and current policies is disappointing, or maybe they could not be bothred to find the info?

The The Norwegian United Federation of Trade Unions has indicated that it wont accept this proposal, but nevertheless has singled Israel out for special treatment on more than 4 separate items. As far as I can tell, there are none for Arab dictators, even now that it is in vogue to want to get rid of them (as long as major Norwegian interests are not jeopardized). Again.

More blatant lies about Israel on French public TV

After posting this earlier today, French Jews protest against “violently anti-Israel’ public TV documentary, another 'spectacular' French media Israel-bashing exercise has come to light.  

Benjamin Barthe is one of the several Israel-bashing journalists at the Monde. Interestingly, Bernard-Henri Lévy sits at the board of directors of Le Monde... and is held to be by French standards a pro-Israel intellectual.  Other prominent French Jews are also associated with Le Monde.

The latest Israel-bashing exercise by Barthe did not go unnoticed.  Yaron Gamburg, the spokesperson for the Israel embassy in France was outraged and issued a statement:

"Mr Barthe, one of  the journalists who interviewed today the number two of the embassy Sammy Ravel,  for TV5 Monde [the equivalent of BBC World], claimed that there is no mention of the Palestinian territories on the maps issued by the Israel Tourism Ministry. Frankly, who does he think he is kidding?"

German law-maker makes organ trafficking accusation against a "rich Israeli"

Arte, a French-German TV channel, held a debate on 29 Setember on illegal human organ trafficking.

When asked if they were aware of organ trafficking cases in Europe, the French guest replied that she estimated that there had been 4 ou 5 in France in 2010.

The other guest, German Member of the European Parliament Dr Peter Liese (Christian Democrat) eagerly replied that to his knowledge there had been only one in Germany: "a rich Israeli who had had an organ from a poor Moldavian peasant".

Google Map Belgium exposes Elders of Ziyon cell based in Brussels synagogue

An antisemitc comment has been on Google Maps Belgium since 15 Avril 2010 describing the Great Synagogue of Brussels, which is also the Great Synagogue of Europe‎, thus (translation from the Flemish) :

"All political, economic and financial decisions in Belgium are taken here. For a decision to be taken, the Belgian Parliament (Wetstraat) has to seek prior approval from the Learned Elders of Ziyon cell based at the Great Synagogue of Brussels (Regentschapsstraat)."

Portuguese 15th c. anti-Semitism compared to Israeli cruelty towards Palestinians

Israel-bashing has become such a sport and Israel-bashers' resources are endless and fanciful.  Joseph Dana [1], a great expert, has come up with a historical comparison that no Portuguese has ever dreamt of.  And in the process he even manages to get his facts wrong.

Belgian academic explains threat of U.S. Jewish lobby to American "dummies" ...

Belgian EU Commissioner Karel De Gucht's remarks on how the Jewish lobby controls America reflects a widely held view in Europe, and that's why neither he nor the EU Commission offered an apology or a rectification.  A Belgian newspaper confirmed that what Commissioner De Gucht said about the Lobby and the irrationality of Jews is exactly in line with what most knowlegeable Europeans believe. 

At the Catholic University of Louvain, in Belgium, Professor Jean Bricmont, like, we are told, most Belgians totally believes in the Jewish lobby and is absolutely terrified and obsessed by it.  He believes that American are not smart enough - even the American left is much too dumb and intimidated - to understands its dangers.  He wrote an essay for Counterpunch (see Counterpunch: A Neo Nazi Magazine) in 2006.  In it he advocates the "de-Zionisation" (doesn't this remind you of "de-Nazification?) of the American mind.  No less. Well, so far the American "idiots" have superbly ignored the ravings of an unsufferably arrogant man for whom Americans are Zionized brainwashed fools who have relinquished their self-determination to the benefit of the Lobby.

Bricmont wants Israeli’s feeling of superiority shattered and believes that “Americans have a great responsibility is doing half of the job, the one concerning kneejerk U.S. support.” One can only guess who should be doing the other half of the job. Another ominous remark: “And that is also why it is easy to dismiss its strength by saying, for instance, that, obviously, Jews don't control America. Sure, but direct control is not the way it works”. There we go!  The Israel Lobby by Walt and Mearsheimer pales in comparison with the violent and contemptuous anti-American (not to mention Jews and Israelis) tone of Bricmont’s paper. His great achievement is that every single sentence smacks of smugness, self-importance and contempt - the give-away words “hate” and “hatred” crop up ten times ...

The Professor also pairs up with Martial Demunter to give sparsely attended “cycles of conferences” in Brussels on “The USA, Zionism and Israel” while Demunter holds forth on “Guilt and Holocaust Manipulation”! A nice pair.

Belgium - "Dexia Bank Get Out of Israel" campaign goes on

Norway, Israel and the Jews write about Swedes:

"Swedish photojournalist Donald Boström has really infuriated the Israelis and its supporters. On August 17, Sweden’s most widely circulated newspaper, Aftonbaldet, carried an article by Boström entitled "Our sons plundered for their organs."1

The usual suspects immediately cried "anti-Semitism," claiming that the old blood libel accusation has been brought to life again.2 The Israelis have even threatened to sue him. Such reactions were anticipated, however. Innumerable hate mails have found their way into Mr Boström’s inbox since the publication, including death threats. More surprising is that Sweden’s ambassador to Israel, Elisabet Borsiin Bonnier, issued a condemnation of the article. It was "as shocking and appalling to us Swedes as to Israelis," the ambassador claimed in a press release that was later withdrawn, having attracted criticism from the Swedish foreign ministry as well as from the government.

On top of that, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has demanded that the Swedish government renounce the article, something which would be unconstitutional in Sweden. A statement from Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman managed to tacitly draw the attention to—you guessed it!—the Holocaust: "It is regrettable that the Swedish foreign ministry does not intervene when it comes to a blood libel against Jews, which reminds one of Sweden’s conduct during World War II when it also did not intervene." (I would urge Lieberman, himself a hard-core racist, to read Lenni Brenner’s excellent 51 Documents: Zionist Collaboration with the Nazis.)

Lieberman’s Swedish counterpart Carl Bildt blatantly refuses to cave in: "As a member of the Swedish government, acting on the Swedish constitution I have to respect freedom of speech, irrespective of the personal views that I might have." His boss, Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, also rejects commenting on the article. Bildt is expected in Israel in about a week’s time, but Israelis are threatening to cancel his trip.

Despite all the fuss, this isn’t the first time Donald Boström publicly vents suspicions about Israelis stealing organs from Palestinians. One chapter of the book Inshallah: konflikten mellan Israel och Palestina ("Inshallah: the Conflict between Israel and Palestine"), edited by Boström and first published in 2001, was an account of what happened to a 19-year-old Palestinian boy. It includes the photo now published in Aftonbladet. Donald Boström decided to shed new light on the affair following the mass arrest in New Jersey of people involved in illegal organ trade that included a shockingly high number of Rabbis.

Jewish groups' anger at Belgian TV digs: "the Jews are still angry"

One 1940s-style comedy sketch lampooned Jews' reactions to comments made by the culture minister of Flanders, the country's Flemish-speaking community.

Another programme had intended to teachers viewers of the VRT channel how to make Adolf Hitler's favourite meal but was pulled before it was broadcast.

Jewish groups accused VRT, the main public Flemish-language tv channel, of being completely insensitive to the history of Jews in Europe.

Protests reached a new peak after a satirical programme "Man bijt hond" ("Man Bites Dog") ran a 40-second piece entitled "the Jews are still angry".

The sequence made fun of the reactions of the Jewish community to comments made by the Flanders culture minister, Bert Anciaux, who had likened the victims of a recent nursery school killing in Flanders to those of the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip.

Rolex watches, Rolls Royces and diamonds

In a 1940s newsreel-style pastiche, a narrator listed a series of institutions and objects which the Jewish community was "still not angry with"; including the America-Israel Friendship League, the 'movement for friendship between Jews and Israel', Rolex, Rolls Royce and the Antwerp Diamond Council.

A drawing depicted a bearded Jew with his face twisted in rage grasping for a huge diamond.

Then viewers saw black and white images of Orthodox Jews dancing, followed by the images of a watch and a luxury car.

Terry Davids, head of Joods Actueel, a magazine for the Jewish community in Antwerp, said she was shocked by what she saw. "These people are completely insensitive to our ... sensibilities," she told AFP.

"It's as if they want to seek us out, to provoke us. We are shocked and indignant."

VRT has pleaded "the right to satire and humour," saying other sectors of society had been targetted in previous programmes.

"When it's in the right context and one sector of society gets the same treatment as another there can be no taboos," said channel spokesman Bjorn Verdoodt.

Among politicians, only Flemish Liberal deputy Claude Marinower has spoken out against the "negationist" programme.

"Each time you think they have reached rock bottom, but each time there is worse to come," he said.

The head of CCOJB, the umbrella representative group of Belgian Jewish organizations, Joël Rubinfeld, denounced the standards of the Flemish channel which "seems to think that multiplying anti-Semitic provocations in a so-called humorous tone will help increase its audience."

Last October a young Flemish TV chef sparked protests by announcing that he wanted to teach VRT viewers how to prepare what he said was Adolf Hitler's favourite meal, trout cooked in butter.

VRT pulled the programme because of the protests, but there was new trouble when on New Year's Day it aired part of a show by comedian Philippe Geubels. Geubels deplored the decision not to run the chef's programme and said the Jewish reaction was over the top.

"What would they do if there was a major gas leak in Antwerp? Accuse the town of provocation?" he asked."

Dominican friar slams "Madoff the Pharisee" and Israel

First came news that the Vatican issued a decree lifting excommunication of traditionalist bishop Richard Williamson who claims that gas chambers didn't exist, then came news that Portuguese Dominican friar Bento Domingues O.P. wrote an article in the Público newspaper stating that :

"For eight years we were made to believe in all the deceptions by George Bush and his clique and in the shameful Wall Street dealings. We are now being made to believe that Barack Obama is the saviour of the superpower and that he will save the world.

It is normal that each group seeks to attract the President to its own camp and there is no doubt that those who wield little power elected Obama. But it will be the most powerful who, to the benefit of the virtuality of the market economy and its dynamism, will divert Obama's attention away from the poorest peoples in the Americas, Africa and Palestine. Israel has already done enough to show that even with Madoff the Pharisee in jail, the U.S. will continue to have faith in Israel, in spite of having committed all manner of crimes against humanity."

All the obscene anti-Semitic ingredients are here: Jews (the most powerful), personified by Madoff the Pharisee and Israel, are such power grabbers and selfish cheats that they are responsible for all the ills and poverty in the world. At least Frei Bento Domingues is frank about his antipathy for Jews, and doesn't hide behind sophisticated arguments to hide the fact.

Madoff scandal: anti-Semitic claims and anti-Semitic counterclaims

This gem - supposedly very funny and insightful - was found in an anti-Semitic Portuguese blog (N.N.*) :

"It has been reported that the American Jew Bernard Madoff will be awarded the Julius Streicher (photo) neo-Nazi gold medal in recognition of his Jewish swindle whereby he robbed [... list of Jews and Jewish organisations ...] and many others."

N.N. blogger then writes that they (only Jews and Jewish organisations) were swindled out of 50 billion US dollars and that this sum is not guaranteed by the American Jewish banking network.

Jews complicit in a huge fraud

So far so good: just classic anti-Semitic tropes, but much too naive and black and white for Portuguese negationist blogger H.D.C.*.

H.D.C. is a really sophisticated thinker who is able to see through layers of Jewish tricks and propaganda. In his blog he mostly uses material written by well-known Jewish useful idiots to promote his negationist views. He commented as follows :

"Don't trust what you read. In fact none of these individuals or organisations has lost a single dollar. It's all a smoke screen."

In other words, the whole thing is a complex Jewish scam. Jews pretend to have been victims of a Jew, but in reality they are complicit, and stand to gain from the fraud in terms of victimhood, money and power !

It's easy to guess who he believes are the genuine victims of the fraud.

Rachel Corrie's ISM: CIA, ISI and Mossad behind Mumbai terrorist attacks

The French branch of the International Solidarity Movement has posted an "analysis" of the Mumbai terrorist attacks by a certain Awami Bharat.

The ISM is supposed to be a pacifist organization and their most famous "militant" was Rachel Corrie. After reading this, there can be no doubt that their ideas are total rubbish.

Here are some excerpts, translated from the French, which give a flavour of the type of harebrained and hateful conspiracies these peace-loving miliants believe in:

Belgium: Hitler favourite dish TV show scrapped due to pressure exerted by "Semites"

The Flemish TV channel VRT1 has broadcast a satirical show "Man bijt hond" on the scrapping of a programme about Adolf Hitler’s favourite meal (details below).

Even if you don't understand Dutch, you can have a look at the video "Cancelled dish". It features a healthy and radiant Anne Frank preparing a meal and images reminiscent of Jews being taken away by Nazis - just for laughs - and of course the cooking of Hitler's supposedly favourite Bavarian dish: trout in butter sauce.

The "Semitic lobby" ?

The entertainer joked that the cooking show was cancelled due to "massive pressure exerted by Semites" and that Jews had over-reacted to a programme involving a "harmless dish cooked in a gas oven".

"A tv station in Belgium has decided not to air on Tuesday a controversial culinary program which was due to feature "Adolf Hitler’s favourite meal."

The Jewish community and former deportees groups had reacted with dismay at the VRT Flemish public television program which, they said, was turning Hitler into a banal figure.I

n the program called "Plat préféré" (Favorite Dish), a professional cook brings up the favourite meal of a personality. Among the figures already presented were Jacques Brel, Salvador Dali and Freddy Mercury. This time, the cook was due to go to Hitler's haunts in Bavaria, southern Germany, to prepare 'trout with butter sauce' which is said to be one of the Nazi dictator’s favorite meals.

A Jewish magazine in Antwerp and CCOJB, the umbrella group of Jewish organizations in Belgium, denounced the program. "It is worrying to see that Hitler is turned into a banal figure, especially for the younger generation," Michael Freilich, chief editor of Joods Actueel magazine, said.

In a reaction last week, the tv station explained it was not its intention "to make Hitler more humane but rather to put him in the right context." VRT had "apologised in advance" if some people felt shocked by the program's contents.

"The management of VRT defends the content of the programme but preferred to withdraw it from scheduling on account of the controversy," the channel said in a statement, adding that the program clearly "shows that Jeroen Meus (the cook) has a dislike for Adolf Hitler and Nazism".
The station has decided instead to feature Greek opera singer Maria Callas."
